High performing design teams

The most effective teams aren't full of unicorns – just designers who understand the medium they operate in. I prioritize helping teams acquire deep domain knowledge because good design comes first from understanding your customers, your business and the underlying technologies.

Designing manager

If it's possible to lead design teams without contributing to the product I haven't found how. I'm in the tools every day, talking to customers, shipping features, putting my work though the same design reviews as everyone else. It builds the kind of credinility required to raise the bar across multiple design teams. s

Zero to 100

I've lauched some very succesful (and many completely failed) zero-to-one projects. If you get off the ground I founds scaling from 1 to 10 can feel almost as "easy" as it is rewarding.

Scaling from 10 to 100 is where things usually break. Navigating that shift and evolving the skills, the team structure, and the approach as the stakes get higher and things get more complex is where good design leadership pays off.

Pragmatic by design

In a world of systems and standards product design can feel parametric and rigid. But I believe design quality comes from how good the rules you set are - and creativity stems from the way you apply them.

Now more than ever for products to feel coherent – like they were designed by one hand – organisations need a clear vision, applied consistently and with intention.
